Long time no post.

Let's pretend as if my last post wasn't in July. Long story short - I've finished that Vanguard typography project for artist Trevor Hall and his song "Brand New Day". Check it out here:



AND, as I was searching for this, I've just found out Vanguard has made an actual music video for him too!





Anyways, I've been basically gone for so long because I took a 2 week trip to the Philippines. I'm currently in my senior year at school and have been busy with various small type projects and my film production class which I'm currently doing sound for. Speaking of film production, I'll be doing my first 12 hour day, 6 to 6, tomorrow morning to do some field recording and later post production audio mixing.

I'm currently recording with a Marantz PMD 660 and an Audio Technica 835b. I got all my equipment from my school's equipment room which is seem to be pretty bad at taking care of equipment. My Marantz came without a shoulder strap so I put my T2i strap to compensate. 

As for projects go - I have "Project X" which its due date seems to loom near, "My Simple Project" which is a type project for an underground artist name F.Stokes, and I was recently offered a job to work for EMI again for an artist named Susan Justice. The catch for the new EMI project is that along with it being a type project, I may have to do a visual sync of the chords in the song to the audio.

Oh, and I quit my job at Domino's due to a lack of hours and start doing more freelance. I used to be afraid of not having a job, but I think with the right organizational skills, freelance would be the best way to go.

Okay, off to bed. I'm going to wake up at 5, have coffee and breakfast, and head out for a long 12 hour day. Wish me luck!
