Sorry for the lack of updates..

..but I was busy with a wedding (which was a huge success) and a very much needed vacation to San Francisco.

Anyways, I've received an offer from Vanguard Records to work on a project for upcoming artist Trevor Hall for his song "Brand New Day".

I've decided to take up the project to help fund my new iMac I plan to get Fall this year so I can further expand my editing capabilities that my ever aging 2009 13" MacBook Pro can't handle. Also Apple's new Thunderbolt port is something that really has caught my eye with its transfer rate of 10GBs a second that I can find vital for storing all my raw footage from my DSLR.

Vanguard is an independent record label working with EMI but I'm excited to work with them since they have The Living Sisters under their name. I'm a fan of the group because of vocalist Inara George who is better known for her work in the duo The Bird and the Bee and her solo act and hope I can somehow squeeze some free tickets or a hookup after completion of this project with Vanguard.

My due date is July 13, which is coincidentally a special day for me too so that means I can have a double celebration that day.

P.S. - This doesn't mean I'm putting my other projects to the side. I'll be working simultaneously with the Edward Sharpe project, and the Trevor Hall project so expect updates from my other stuff too.
